[Fuse] ampee Is the Sweetest, Most Welcoming Café in Town

A lovely time spent with my daughter

In August 2025, a brand-new crepe & coffee shop called

ampee opened in Fuse.

My daughter and I visited for the very first time—and we instantly fell in love.

The crepes we ordered were simple,

but the menu is filled with beautifully presented,

Instagram-worthy creations and a variety of “oshi-katsu” themed drinks.

Choosing what to order was honestly the

hardest part because everything looked so good!

What made me especially happy was the owner’s incredible kindness.

Their warm, thoughtful hospitality made the whole experience truly memorable.

Here’s my full report on this wonderful little spot!

Ampee : Access & Atmosphere

• Location: 2-14-15 Ashiyakita, Higashi-Osaka City
• Atmosphere: I think the inside might have originally been a studio.
  The interior is stylish, cozy, and relaxing, though voices echo a little in the space.
  (By the window, there’s an adorable corner lined with Doraemon, Curious George, and other cute characters!)
• The coffee area seems to open irregularly depending on the owner’s schedule.

Rainy-Day “Dice Game” & the Owner’s Amazing Kindness

On this day, we had attended an event at Nagado Community Center.

On our way back—walking through

the rain with my daughter dressed in her Elsa dress

—we happened to pass by ampee on the way to the coin parking lot.

Since I’d been a little curious about the place,

I thought, Why not stop in?

When we opened the door, there was a counter to the right,

and the owner was in the back cooking crepe batter.

On the shelf, chocolate sauces and toppings were neatly displayed,

and the menu was so rich and varied

that it was honestly hard to choose.

The fact that you can customize your crepe was a big plus!

While waiting, I asked for permission to take photos of the menu.

When I asked my daughter what she wanted, she said:

“Whipped cream, mandarin oranges,
and colorful sprinkles!”

So that’s what we ordered.

Then the owner told us about a rainy-day event:

You roll a die, and depending on the number, you get a little “lucky bonus.”

My daughter rolled a 1, which came with a free banana topping.

But… she politely declined.

She wanted mandarin oranges,

so banana wasn’t her thing (classic kid logic, lol).

I figured we’d just skip the bonus, but then the owner smiled and said:

“In that case, I’ll discount the banana price for you.”

Thanks to that kindness, our total was a bit cheaper.

His gentle, thoughtful response really warmed my heart,

and I promised myself:

“We’re definitely coming back here again.”

Our Sweet, Melt-in-Your-Mouth Crêpe Review

Let’s start with the custom crêpe my daughter chose:

Whipped cream + mandarin oranges + colorful sprinkles.

Just look at this mountain of whipped cream…!

It felt surprisingly heavy when I held it—

in the cutest “this is going to be good” way (´ω｀)

The refreshing sweetness of the mandarin oranges pairs

perfectly with the fluffy whipped cream,

and the colorful sprinkles make it extra fun and cheerful.

It’s a combination that kids love, but even adults can be fully satisfied with.

The custom crêpe I chose for myself

Whipped cream + custard + banana + chocolate sauce.

As someone who always picks double cream puffs because

I’m a little greedy with sweets,

this one was absolutely perfect for me.

…Honestly,

I wanted to add ice cream too (´▽｀)

But I resisted. This time

What was the impression?

Some crêpe shops have whipped cream that’s grainy or too heavy,


making it a bit tiring to eat.

But the whipped cream here was completely different.

Smooth, light, and the kind

that just melts away before you even notice.

(Yes… it was so good that it ruined my vocabulary lol)

It was exactly the kind of whipped cream I love,

so I can confidently recommend it to anyone who’s a cream lover.

And let me say this one more time…

As you can see, the whipped cream was piled high.

It felt heavy in my hand—in the best way possible.

If you’ve come from far away, you definitely have to try this!

I’ll go back and secretly drink one when my daughter isn’t around (lol).

Maybe after payday…
