one of the best indoor amusement parks where kids and families
can enjoy a full day without worrying about rain or heat.
Planning a trip to Osaka but worried about the weather?
Rainy days don’t have to ruin your plans!

Good news for families with kids—there’s a place where the fun never stops,
no matter the weather!
(Even if you’ve been there before, you might discover something new,
so keep reading♪)
In this post, I’ll give you a full review of Asobi Mare Nanko,
a massive indoor playground where children can run,
jump, and play all day long.
(This article also includes some affiliate recommendations.)
Since it’s a little dark inside, the photos have been brightened.

Why Visit Asobi Mare?
A huge play area, countless attractions, and honestly…
I think it’s pretty cost-effective for what you get!
No need to stress about lunch either—there’s a convenient food court right inside.
Plus, for travelers or first-time visitors,
I’ll also share helpful tips like access, admission fees, and parking discounts.
All from my perspective, Sky dolphin-M,
with plenty of photos to capture the fun (yes, I’m praising myself here, lol).
1. Amazing Value! Unlimited Playtime at Asobi Mare Nanko
One of the biggest highlights of Asobi Mare Nanko is the unlimited playtime!
Once you enter, you can enjoy the playground as long as you like.
Even if you leave temporarily for a meal or a quick break, re-entry is allowed.
For families with kids, this flexibility is a lifesaver—
no need to worry about strict time limits.
Children can play at their own pace, and parents can
relax without constantly checking the clock.

2. Huge Space! Attraction Area Where Kids Can Move Freely
The spacious area is packed with playground equipment
that sparks children’s curiosity♪

Trampoline: Kids take turns jumping for 2 minutes each.
Keep repeating, and you can even strengthen your core! (^_^)

Ball Pool: Filled with white and blue balls, it feels like a little sea♪
(In reality, decorations for Halloween, like ghosts, are set up.)
You can also play by throwing balls at the targets on the walls.

Large Slider with Climbing Wall: Climb using your whole body,
then zoom down the slide! Kids absolutely love it.
Watching them slide down somehow reminds me of flowing somen noodles…

“Up to 5 Years Old” Area: Equipped with a jungle gym and slides,
this dedicated space allows even the little ones to play safely.
We made the most of it since we won’t be able to use it next year!

Other Attractions: Giant blocks, go-karts, cycle carts, and more fun rides are also available.
There were also lots of medal games and coin-operated games.
(I avoided them (;’∀’))
3. Perfect for Photos! The “Dress-Up” Experience Zone
Asobimare isn’t just about moving your body—
the “dress-up” experiences are super immersive and perfect for photogenic moments!
I had so much fun(^^♪
Authentic Role-Playing Area
Dream Stage & Costume Corner:
In the costume corner at the back, you can try on outfits of various characters such as Cinderella, clowns, Demon Slayer characters, Precure, and more.
You can wear them over your clothes and take memorable photos.

And the real stage in front with the red curtains:
It even supports Bluetooth!
You can play your favorite music and enjoy dancing or pretend performances under the stage lights.
This is something you rarely see at other indoor facilities—truly one of Asobimare’s “amazing features”!

Other favorites we revisited:
A realistic wooden kitchen, and shops like a bakery, donut shop,
and cupcake shop.
She can enjoy full-scale pretend play.

Wearing an apron really makes you feel like a real shop assistant!
(The bandana was rejected as “uncool” lol)
Even the white bear plushies play an active role as customers.
4. [Super Important] Worry-Free Lunch & Breaks! On-Site Food Court
If you’re planning to play all day, you might wonder,
“What about lunch…?”
Don’t worry—money solves that problem (lol).
Asobimare has a food court right inside the facility.
Apparently, it was temporarily closed during COVID.
I had looked up some old info and hesitated to buy an onigiri,
but I couldn’t resist and ordered the cod roe pasta.
The unique aroma and taste were a hit for both me and my daughter.
If it weren’t for the Tenshiba Oktoberfest,
we would have indulged in a big feast (´ω`).
Wondering about the prices?

Menu Variety: Beef curry, cutlet curry, pasta (like carbonara),
takoyaki, onigiri, and more—plenty for both adults and kids.
Kids’ menu includes kid-friendly curry and mini udon.
Hours: Meals & shaved ice are available from 11:30 to 16:00,
Ice cream & drinks until 17:00.
Re-entry: You can leave and visit other restaurants in ATC,
but having lunch inside the facility is easier and more convenient.
5. Access Information: Smooth Travel from Osaka’s Tourist Spots!
Located inside ATC (Asia & Pacific Trade Center), the facility is very easy to reach.
| Method | Details |
|---|---|
| Train | Take the Osaka Metro Chuo Line to Cosmosquare Station, then transfer to the New Tram to Trade Center-mae Station (direct access). |
| Car | Hanshin Expressway Wangan Route, Nanko-kita Exit or Nanko-minami Exit. Use the ATC parking lot. Don’t forget the Expo-period discount! |
Summary: Asobimare – The Ace of Osaka Family Trips
Asobimare Nanko is a must-add to your Osaka sightseeing plan!
With its spacious area, abundant playground equipment, convenient on-site dining, and no time limits, it offers unbeatable value for families.
Since most people are heading to the Expo,
it’s currently less crowded—meaning you can play to your heart’s content.
Spend a fun-filled day with your family at Asobimare, and create lots of smiles!
I hope this info doesn’t make it too crowded…
And please don’t think, “Who even cares about this?” (lol)
