キラキラサンキャッチャー作りとおすすめのテグス
ペットボトルビーズのサンキャッチャー！
捨てない「個性派ビーズ」を活かす秘訣と、
あのカバンから生まれたアイディア
なぜか引きちぎられたカバン…そこから始まった（笑）
まず最初に、一個2176円の、このカバンを
引きちぎります・・・・
嘘です(*´▽｀*)
でも半分事実です（笑）
というのも娘の誕生日に要るって言ったから買ったのに、
数日後にちぎられるというね。。。。

前回の記事で、ペットボトルビーズ作りの
『失敗しないコツ』を書きましたが
今回は、そのコツを活かして、私は第二弾の
サンキャッチャー作りと、子供は
ブレスレット作りに挑戦した記事です
実は、前回と今回のサンキャッチャーの
『ひらめき』は、失敗から
生まれたんです…（笑）
前回を読んでいただいた方には
理由がわかると思うので今回は
省略しますが・・・・・
詳しいコツは
前回のブログで書いています☆
今回は、この捻じれたビーズを紹介します
これは大半が捻じれ、もはやどれか分からず（笑）
下のは
バランスが取れているので上手くいきました
ビーズ作りの工程と子供の作品
今度は子供も描く
一生懸命に描きます
子供が描いた絵は下のこちらです
これを焼くと
全部が成功♪
最後のダメ押しで複雑な模様で
左右非対称は・・・・
失敗の率が高い
という事で実験が終わり、今度は私がテグスに
(娘はゴム紐ですが)捻じれたビーズや紐が千切れたビーズを通していくと
トップ画の様なサンキャッチャーになります
おすすめのテグスと組み立て方
ただ、私は硬いテグスより
前回に使ったこちらの方が柔らかく
使いやすいと思いました
トップ画のテグスで組んだサンキャッチャーは
少し曲がっていますが、このポリウレタンは真っすぐになります
最後の止め方は丸く括って
最後を玉の中に戻して終わりました
ビーズは失敗しても“成功”にできる！
最後に言いたかったのは捻じれているビーズも
個性的になって可愛いと思います
なので失敗ではなくて成功です♪

Well, it’s half true (lol)
I bought this bag because my daughter
said she wanted it for her birthday,
and just a few days later…
she tore it apart.

The secret to using up those “twisted, quirky beads”
and the idea that came from that torn bag
To begin with,
I took this bag that cost 2,176 yen…
and ripped it apart.

In my last post, I shared “Tips for Making
PET Bottle Beads Without Failing.”
Bead-Making Process and My Child’s Artwork
This time, using those tips,
I worked on a second suncatcher,
and my child made a bracelet.
Actually, the inspiration for both
this and the last suncatcher
came from a failure… (lol)
If you’ve read the previous post,
you’ll understand why—
so I’ll skip that part for now.

This time, I want to introduce these twisted beads.
Most of them ended up twisted, and honestly…
I can’t even tell which is which (lol)
These ones, though,
had better balance and turned out well.
Next, my child joined in to draw.
She worked
really hard on it.
After baking them…
They all turned out great♪
Now for the final test —
a complex, asymmetrical pattern…
Here’s how it turned out:
With the experiment finished,
I threaded the twisted and
broken-string beads
onto elastic cord
(my child used stretchy string).
And just like the top photo,
we had a sparkling suncatcher complete!
Recommended Cord and How to Assemble
Personally,
I found this type of elastic
—used in the previous post—
much softer and easier to handle than stiff cords.
The top photo’s suncatcher is
made with elastic cord,
which makes it curve slightly.
But this polyurethane cordkeeps the shape nice and straight.
To finish it off, we made a small loop
and tucked the end back into the bead.
Even Failed Beads Can Be a Success!
What I wanted to say at the end was:
Even twisted beads can look unique and adorable.
That means… it’s not a failure
—it’s a success!
