どうも、Skydolphin-Mです(^^♪
去ること8月31日
娘と一緒に、東大阪市指定文化財の「 旧河澄家 」で開催された
流しそうめんのイベントに参加してきました
イベントは1日限定だったけど、夏らしい体験ができて
めっちゃ楽しかったので、写真と一緒に紹介します♪
工作体験：ストローゴム鉄砲づくり
わりと時間通りに始まったのかな？
A班とB班にわかれて
まずは工作体験をしました
(案内が特別なかったので自然と早く来て
部屋で座ってる人達が工作の時間になりました)
今回、挑戦したのは「ストローゴム鉄砲」でした
大学生のお兄さんが丁寧に教えてくれて
なおかつ、付き添ってくれた大学生の
お兄さんが
ほぼ完成してくれて(*´▽｀*)助かりました
ストローと輪ゴムを組み合わせて完成！
シュッと飛ばすことができて、娘も大満足♪
作ってる時に一生懸命と教えてくれていて
恐らく人見知りさんかな？
ドキドキしていた感覚が伝わってきて
めちゃくちゃ初々しかった(*’▽’)
流しそうめんで夏を満喫
いよいよメインの流しそうめん！
青空の下、竹を使った本格的な流しそうめん台が用意されてて
めっちゃ感動♪
幼き日にお祖母ちゃんの家でやったのを思い出しました
ふーちゃんもお椀と自分のお箸を持ってスタンバイ
きっと子供が好きな優しいお兄さんが
ハンデ状態で素麺が流れていく
ゴール地点までの色んな間に
素麺を流してくれたおかげで
「取れたー！」と喜んだり
うまくいかなくても必至に取って笑ったり
夏ならではの体験に親子で大はしゃぎでした♪
育つなら優しい子に育って欲しいって思った(*´▽｀*)
娘のおかげで私も素麺にありつけた（笑）
歴史ある建物を見学
実は、もう一つ私には目的があって
どうせ行くなら、しっかりと中を見たいと思い
早めについて娘と見学をしに行きました
旧河澄家の建物の中では、
昔の生活道具や文化に関する展示があって
化粧の歴史や、算盤・文箱など、普段触れることのない資料が並んでいて、
ちょっと面白かったです
もっと見たかったのに娘が『早くあっち行こう』と言うので
即、終了（笑）
それでも、子どもと一緒に学びの時間もあって、
のんびり過ごせる空間が最高でした
まとめ
工作体験、流しそうめん、そして文化財の見学と盛りだくさんの1日
娘と私にとって楽しい思い出になりました
もし来年も開催されるならぜひまた行きたいです
東大阪の歴史ある建物で、夏のひとときを楽しめる素敵なイベントでした♪

Introduction
Hi, this is Skydolphin-M (^^♪
On August 31, my daughter and
I joined a special summer event held
at the designated cultural property
Former Kawazumi Residence in Higashi-Osaka.
Kyu-Kawazumike
It was a one-day-only event featuring
nagashi somen (flowing noodles) and a hands-on craft activity.
We had such a fun time,
so I’d like to share the experience with photos!
Craft Workshop: Straw Rubber Band Gun
The event started with a craft workshop.
We joined the “Straw Rubber Band Gun” activity,
where kind university students guided
the kids step by step.
Thanks to their help,
my daughter was able to complete
her own rubber band shooter using straws.
When she launched it and it flew with a “whoosh!”,
she was absolutely delighted!
Enjoying Nagashi Somen
The highlight of the event was, of course, nagashi somen!
Under the summer sky, bamboo flumes were set up,
and noodles were sent flowing down the stream.
My daughter grabbed her bowl and chopsticks,
ready and excited.
The staff made sure to adjust the
speed so even kids could catch the noodles,
which brought lots of laughter and smiles.
Thanks to their kindness,
my daughter and I
both got to catch noodles—what a perfect summer memory!
Exploring the Historic House
Besides the activities,
we also explored the Former Kawazumi Residence.
Inside, there were displays of traditional daily tools,
cultural items,
and even cosmetics and writing tools from the past.
It was a rare chance to see things we don’t usually get to touch.
Although my daughter was eager to move on quickly,
I still enjoyed the short time learning and relaxing in the historic space.
Summary
The combination of the craft workshop,
nagashi somen, and cultural exhibits
made for a truly fulfilling day.
It became a wonderful memory for
both me and my daughter.
If this event is held again next year,
we’d definitely love to join once more!

I also own a nagashi-somen machine myself.
To be honest, assembling it can be a little troublesome,
and you need to take turns being the one who sends the
noodles down—otherwise, it’s not as fun (lol).
But kids absolutely love it!
Since the hot days are likely to continue for a while,
how about giving it a try?
I think it would also be a lot of fun
at nursing homes or children’s facilities.
